Advantages of using color masterbatch
1. Better dispersibility of pigments in products
Color masterbatch is an aggregate made by uniformly loading super large amount of pigment into the resin.
During the production of color masterbatch, the pigment must be refined to improve the dispersion and coloring power of the pigment. The carrier of the special color masterbatch is the same as the plastic of the product, and has good compatibility. After heating and melting, the pigment particles can be well dispersed in the plastic of the product.
2. It is conducive to maintaining the chemical stability of pigments
If the pigment is used directly, the pigment will absorb water, oxidize and other phenomena due to its direct contact with the air during storage and use. After it is used as the color master, the quality of the pigment will remain unchanged for a long time because the resin carrier separates the pigment from the air and water.

In the production process, the color masterbatch is mechanically processed to refine the pigment, fully mix the pigment, resin carrier and dispersant, so as to isolate the pigment from air and water, thus enhancing the weatherability of the pigment, improving the dispersion and tinting power of the pigment, and making the color bright. Since the shape of masterbatch is similar to that of resin particles, it is more convenient and accurate in measurement, and will not adhere to the container when mixing, thus saving the time for cleaning containers and machines and raw materials used for cleaning.
