Packaging is the most important market for color masterbatch, accounting for half of the color masterbatch market. Plastic packaging products are mainly films, which are widely used in commodity packaging. There are three main production methods of plastic film: extrusion blow molding, extrusion extension and extrusion extension.
1. With the higher and higher requirements for plastic film packaging of food, multi-layer co extruded composite film is used to meet various requirements. For example, the surface and inner layer of composite food packaging film must have good sealing ability and printing performance, and the intermediate layer material must have barrier and puncture resistance to meet the requirements of food packaging. The number of layers of composite food packaging film has grown from 5, 7, 9 to 1020, with more and more film layers and thinner and thinner thickness.
2. Extruded cast film
The cast film has excellent heat sealing performance and transparency, and is one of the main packaging composite substrates. It is used to produce high-temperature cooking film, vacuum aluminum coating film, etc. The market is very optimistic. Compared with blown film, cast film has the characteristics of fast production speed and high output. The transparency, glossiness and thickness uniformity of the film are very good. At present, the extrusion casting film is developing towards high speed and high efficiency (the extrusion line speed is getting faster and faster, reaching 450 mm in and increasing benefits.
3. Extruded stretch film
Extruded stretch film OPP, BOPP, BOPET has the characteristics of good transparency, high gloss, good stiffness, good barrier, good heat resistance, easy heat sealing, etc. The film can be used in food packaging fields such as bags and aseptic packaging. It is safe to contact with food and will not affect the flavor of internal food. Biaxially stretched film equipment is developing towards multi-layer, high-speed and ultra wide. The speed of biaxially stretched film has reached 500min and the width has reached 10m. With the development of the above three new technologies for plastic film production, higher quality requirements are put forward for pigment content, fluidity and dispersibility of matched masterbatch.
