As a common additive for plastic products, masterbatch contains many kinds of products in its raw materials. Therefore, we should be careful in the use process. Once we accidentally touch it, we should give first aid in time:

1. Skin contact: Take off contaminated clothes immediately and wash skin with plenty of water. Seek medical attention if necessary.
2. Eye contact: lift the eyelids, rinse with plenty of water, and seek medical advice.
3. Inhalation: quickly leave the site to a place with fresh air and seek medical advice.
4. Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately.
5. Hazard characteristics: masterbatch is used as flame retardant additive under fire condition.
6. Hazardous combustion products: color masterbatch may produce dangerous gases during combustion or production: carbon monoxide, phosphorus oxide (such as phosphorus pentoxide), phosphine, nitrogen oxide , etc.
Fire fighting measures
1. Extinguishing method: use foam, carbon dioxide or water to extinguish the fire, and cover the burning area with wet sand after the fire is extinguished.
2. Firefighters wear positive pressure respirators and protective clothing when fighting a fire.
3. Other information: white phosphorus formed by burning products of color masterbatch after fire extinguishing
Leakage emergency treatment
1. Personnel protection: wear personal protective clothing, protective mask and rubber gloves. Personnel not taking personal protective measures are prohibited from entering the site. Keep fresh air in the room to avoid dust.
2. Environmental protection: Do not throw waste into rivers or surface water, including polluted water and fire water. It can also be disposed according to the laws and regulations of the local government. Clean the spilled materials in a ventilated environment.
Masterbatch has strong dispersibility and fluidity in the resin. Therefore, special attention should be paid to it during daily contact. In addition, the product can be treated as waste or recycled.
